From Hood to Hollywood

Ghetto born Demi Rodriquez, a beautiful half-black half-Puerto Rican bombshell enjoys her lavish lifestyle. Unfortunately, she gets a taste of the broke life when her drug-dealing boyfriend gets sent to prison. In an instant, Demi is forced right back into her mother's cramped housing project in Harlem. Soon, everyday becomes a struggle and an emotional battleground until she meets a handsome movie producer from Los Angeles who thinks she has the sex appeal to make it to the top. In a quest for fame and fortune, Demi takes a chance and sets out for Hollywood where everybody and everything has a dream. Her chances of becoming an A-list actress gets slim when she befriends a slick talking woman who dabbles in everything from drugs to prostitution to a life where some actresses don't wake up the next morning. Follow Demi as she finds herself on the wrong end of the film business which is destined to destroy her mind, body and spirit.
